Privacy Policy
The short version: Manager Card Decks doesn't have a server, an account system, or any analytics. Everything the app remembers — your favorites, your unlock status — stays in local storage on your own device. We never see it.
This page explains exactly what that means, what Apple handles on our behalf when you make a purchase, and how to reach us with questions.
Information we collect
Manager Card Decks is built to work entirely offline. We do not operate a backend server, and the app does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use it.
The only information the app stores is generated by your own use of it, and it stays on your device:
- Favorited cards — the id of any card you star, so it can appear on your Favorites screen.
- Unlock status — whether you've purchased the full card unlock, checked locally against your App Store purchase record.
- Viewing history for free cards — used only to time a single one‑time prompt after you've previewed every free card.
None of this is linked to your name, email, or any other identifier, because we never collect one.
In‑app purchases & Apple
The "Unlock All Cards" purchase is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit, the App Store's payment system. We never receive or handle your payment details — no card numbers, billing address, or Apple ID password ever pass through our app or any server we run.
Apple independently collects and processes information necessary to complete the transaction under its own privacy policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy. We only receive a signed confirmation that a purchase was completed, which the app checks locally to unlock content.
Where your data lives
Favorites and unlock status are saved using Apple's standard on‑device storage (UserDefaults). This data:
- Never leaves your device or gets transmitted anywhere by us.
- Is included in your device's own iCloud or local backups, subject to your iOS backup settings — not something this app configures separately.
- Is permanently deleted the moment you delete the app.
Third parties & tracking
Manager Card Decks does not integrate any third‑party analytics, advertising, or crash‑reporting SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and there is nothing in the app for the App Store's App Tracking Transparency prompt to ask permission for.
The one third party involved in using this app at all is Apple, solely in its role operating the App Store and processing purchases as described above.
Children's privacy
Manager Card Decks is a workplace‑management tool intended for managers and professionals, and it is not directed at children. Regardless of who uses it, the app collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Your choices
Because nothing is stored outside your device, managing your data is straightforward:
| To do this | Do this |
|---|---|
| Remove a favorite | Tap the star on that card's back again to un‑favorite it |
| Restore a prior purchase | Use "Restore Purchases" on the unlock screen |
| Delete everything the app has stored | Delete the app from your device |
Changes to this policy
If Manager Card Decks ever adds features that change what data the app collects — an account system or cloud sync, for instance — we'll update this page and change the effective date above before that feature ships, not after.
