Amanda Hudson

Amanda Hudson, MBA, CHRL, GPHR

Amanda Hudson has been leading people and advising clients for her entire career. A trusted advisor to many, she works with clients on business transformation challenges that impact people in the workplace.

One of the highlights of her career was running the School of Business Management and Centre for Human Resources at Seneca College, where she managed a team of 50 unionized workers. She currently holds the position of President on the L’Arche Toronto Board of Directors, and works with an education software startup Teachme.com.

Amanda has extensive experience working within the tech, nonprofit and higher education sectors. She has been teaching and building HR programming in the post-secondary sector for over eight years. She was the developer of the Human Resources Graduate Certificate for Algonquin College, and consults with multiple other institutions on curriculum development. She currently teaches part-time at York University.

She holds an MBA from Queen’s University and a Business Administration diploma in Human Resources from Algonquin College. She is a designated Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).

Liana Macera holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce – specialty in Human Resource Management from York University. She also studied at Canada’s National Ballet School for half a decade, and went on to dance professionally at the National Ballet of Canada.

It was at the National Ballet where she developed an extremely dedicated work ethic. These days Liana is transferring that dedication into business consulting projects that impact people, process and strategy. She has been working with A Modern Way to Work for just over two years, having completed work in job analysis, organizational design and leadership and management development.

The most recent addition to the A Modern Way to Work team, Kerri Learning is a results-oriented and trusted adviser. Having concentrated her career primarily within the technology sector, Kerri has extensive experience partnering with leaders of organizations both large and small to design, deliver, and implement HR solutions with a focus on increasing organizational effectiveness.

Throughout her career, Kerri has taken on roles that have focused on introducing a Human Resources framework into organizations in which none has existed previously. Her approach to program development is thorough; mindfully developing and tailoring HR solutions to best support the desired customer and employee experiences.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Windsor with a concentration in Human Resources Management.
